All of our fabrics are made with 100% solution dyed, mildew resistant, acrylic fiber. Solution dying is a process in which the pigment or dye is added, along with UV stabilizers, early in manufacturing. This locks the color in so it cannot be faded by the sun or bleached out. Solution-dyed acrylic is also natural at resisting stains, and with added stain release finishes, it is even more stain resistant. Additionally, the UV stabilizers keep the sun from "dry rotting" the fabric which is when a fabric that is exposed to the sun will lose strength and break down.
