Return to Media

These sound clips came from some unmarked cassette tapes which in turn came from some unmarked reel to reel tapes that my father made many many years ago.  The tapes were deteriorating and these are the only clips I managed to save.  As these represent a rather positive part of my childhood I would love to know more about them.  If you have any information regarding these clips Please contact me at info@torbtown.com.

Balls
A short clip for masculine protective de-aromament creme.  From the late 60's early 70's.  I've tried asking Dr. Demento and KPPC radio (where the clip probably originally came from) but have had no luck.

Tasteless Garbage
Another short clip from the late 60's early 70's about Tasteless Garbage (you eat it everyday).  I thought this may be Firesign Theatre but I talked with them and they had never heard this before.

Feet
I think this is a late 60's KPPC radio spot for Fred Segal shoes...  I sent the radio station and the shoe people many notes regarding this clip but have yet to hear back for anyone.  I simply LOVED this clip as a kid.

Echo
This is obviously from the Nixon years.  Maybe George Carlin?  Flip Wilson?  I can't tell.  It seems to be from a television show.

Thank God for Marijuana
I would have thought that this clip would have been easy to find.  So far I have had no luck... maybe National Lampoon?  This has a very 70's feel about it.
