Solstice Chapter 23

I drifted up through a dizzy blackness.  I was laying upon the ground, a thin bed roll beneath me, a thick woolen blanket on top of me, a delicious memory still lingering.

I opened my eyes and quietly peeked about.  I was still in the underground chamber, a faint light from the oil lamp... not much Time had passed.

I looked the other way and saw Her.  She was kneeling over in the corner, rummaging around in Her back pack for something.  Her hat was sitting on the ground next to Her, and long dark locks cascaded across Her shoulders, blocking part of Her face from my view....

Just then she turned and looked right at me, a pleasant, somewhat all knowing smile upon her lips.

I felt incredibly transparent, like my every thought was somehow being vocalized against my will, and the shock of her gaze sent me back into a dizzy haze.  I faded out again.

A dream, a Real dream, washed over me then.  THAT dream.  That sunny dream of green rolling hills and crisp clean air and Her dancing through the meadow...

I awoke feeling more refreshed and relaxed than I'd been since arriving in this place, as if, even in a Dream one must rest, ya know?

Sitting next to me on the floor was the oil lamp, turned down low.  I snaked a hand out from beneath the blanket and turned it up, watching the glow spread across the room, wondering what it would reveal...

The bed roll contained Me, and nothing but Me. *laughs*  At the Time I was both relieved and disappointed *shrugs* Next to me was the lamp and a box of matches.

Sitting on a small wooden stool was a bundle of clothing.

I sat up and looked about.  She was no where in sight.

I got up and examined the clothes... khaki trousers, flannel shirt, a vest... they felt warm and soft to the touch...

I began to dress, the whole time my mind turning little circles:  'He's a She, She's a He...' over and over again.

I slipped on the trousers.  They were very warm and soft, form fitting, very sensual... very tight in some areas, looser in others... very feminine feeling...

I slipped on the shirt and felt tinglies all over as the fabric caressed my skin.  Again, that deliciously feminine feeling crept across me as I buttoned the shirt, felt the odd tightness here, looseness there...

I giggled and wiggled a bit in my new outfit, enjoying the Feel of it against me, unabashed for that one brief moment before blushing and peeking to see if anyone was about...

She was a He was a She and They had given me Their clothing.

And Their light.

Now it was up to Me to figure out what to do with them.
