*sigh*
Last day of fluffing today...gonna go pull the very last of herring code
205 down from the fridge and start it thawing out...they will strip the
eggs out on friday and herring, with the exception of shipping out a few
eggs, will be DONE.

*giggles*
So, while I was on night shift, the safety person, (Cathy Batman) ((whom
nobody really likes all that much)) gave this years forklift
recertification class/test.  I was never informed of this...Cathy thinks
that posting some bulletins where none of us can see them is a clever
way to let us know, and Tim totally spaced on telling us night shift
people till it was too late....he told everybody but me on the very last
day of the class...*grin*

This happened last year too...Last year they said, 'well we Need you to
drive, so don't worry about it, just keep yer card and everything is
cool'  this year tho'...this year cathy says I can't drive till I take
her little test thingy (first monday in june) *bursts out laughing*

Don't bother me none at all, in fact, my neck and shoulder feel better
now than they have all year long!  ((Most drivers can drive 'normally',
looking forward, but during this herring gig where I'm stashing
everything away or getting it out again, the majority of my driving is
backwards--safety, visibility, maneuverability, etc.--thus I spend a LOT
of time in a twisted warpped contorted position trying to twist me head
around so I can see where I'm going and still not spill me load or kill
anyone...))  HOWEVER, the people around me are a bit bummed and
concerned *laughs* now they gotta drive more, for one thing.  And for
some reason a lot of people seem to think that driving is 'easy' and
lifting heavy boxes is 'hard' *shrugs* It's Apples and Oranges
man,,,,it's all fruit. *giggles* Driving is every bit as hard as
throwing boxes, only differant...in some ways it's harder because
throwing boxes is just physical, driving is physical, mental, and
stressful all at once.

Well, don't know fer sure what's up after this fluffing gig,...Man, it
has been a groovy one *wink* ..hmmmm except fer baitland and #12, the
upstairs is empty....good time fer a defrost before salmon...*grin*
 

The LONGER I can hide out with Chapo before the summer madness, the
better *wink*  They posted the job openings for the summer
positions....about half the 'lead/bump in pay' jobs opened up!  NO ONE
IS COMING BACK AND I CAN'T BLAME THEM ONE BIT.  *laughs*  I believe I'm
eligible for about half the jobs listed, *smirks* and I aint gonna take
a one of them, either *grins*

Gonna be a funky summer, what with all new people running the show and
not many people to work with.....
