Well Seymour herring finally went off last
night. *giggles*
Tim
called
in all the freezer crew along with the processing crew for 0600 this
morning...it was four hours before I started getting totes. *grin*
no
complaints from me man, easy money. The only room
we have
left in the
fridge is holding #1, and that already has some herring and other stuff
in it. Sooo,,,we are using some vans for storage
space.
Scott wanted
to start filling the firdge first, then vans, but I nixxed that plan
because when we get to the end that would mess things up...remember
all
the differant codes of herring have to be kept together and seperate
from the other codes...Besides, it's a REALLY nice day and I'd much
rather be outside on the van dock than hanging out in the fish house,
ya
know?? *grin*
We'll get about 90 tons of Seymour...there
abouts...should finish it
up
tomorrow I would think, a day to set up and start packing herring into
50 pound boxes for loading onto the tramper that is supposed to come
on
the 6th,...then dig totes out of the fridge and pack it out for some
days...hmmm, wonder if they'll give overtime for that...hope so *grin*
Then start stripping what little we are going to strip this
year....then
ship out all the finished product (roe)...clean up that mess and start
setting up for salmon....Looks like the seasons are upon us comrades
*grin*
Dean, dug the forward a LOT, keep it up man
*wink*
Despite my fucked
up
work schedule I will ALWAYS have time for email, hell, email is really
the whole reason I got this bloody machine in the first place, ya know?
icq and homepages and the other stuff is all bonus to me. *giggles* |
